1. Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your (“User,” “you,” or “your”) access to and use of the Onestep Med LLC website, mobile applications, and all other services provided by us (collectively, the “Services”), as well as any information, files, or other materials uploaded, downloaded, transmitted, or appearing on the Services (collectively, “Content”). By accessing or using the Services, including registering, uploading, or downloading Content, you agree to be bound by these Terms. The Services are owned and operated by Onestep Med LLC (“Onestep Med,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
Onestep Med LLC is not a healthcare provider, insurance carrier, agent, or broker, nor is it affiliated with any specific health plan or endorsed by any government entity. We connect individuals with healthcare providers, insurance providers, or other affiliates (collectively, “Partners”) to provide you, the consumer, with opportunities to obtain information about healthcare services, insurance plans, or connect with licensed professionals. By submitting forms or contacting us through provided channels, you will be directed to a Partner who can assist with your inquiries or connect you to an appropriate professional.
2. Access
You are responsible for your use of the Services, any Content you post or distribute, and any consequences thereof. You are also responsible for the actions of anyone using your account, whether authorized or not. Content you submit, post, or display may be viewed by other users or third-party services and websites. You should only upload or share Content you have the legal right to share and are comfortable sharing under these Terms. By uploading Content, you grant Onestep Med a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide license to transmit, copy, use, and create derivative works of that Content as we deem necessary (“Content License”).
You must be 18 years or older to use the Services and must comply with these Terms and all applicable local, state, national, and international laws, rules, and regulations.
The Services may evolve, and their form or nature may change without prior notice. Onestep Med may temporarily or permanently discontinue the Services or any features without notice and reserves the right to impose limits on use or storage at our sole discretion without prior notice.
The Services may include advertisements, which may be targeted based on Content, queries, or other information. You agree that Onestep Med and its Partners or advertisers may place advertisements on the Services in connection with your use or Content.
3. Privacy
Any personally identifiable information or Content that identifies you (“Personal Data”) is subject to our Privacy Policy, which governs the collection and use of your Personal Data. California residents are also subject to our “California Privacy Rights” provisions. You consent to the collection, use, and transfer of Personal Data, including cross-border transfers, for storage, processing, and use by Onestep Med and its Partners.
As part of the Services, we may send you service announcements or administrative messages, which you may not opt out of while using the Services. For certain features, you may need to opt in to receive text messages or other communications. You agree to send communications only with recipient consent or as permitted by law and to cease sending communications upon request.
4. Content on the Services
The Services act as a platform to connect consumers with healthcare or insurance-related Partners. All Content, whether publicly or privately posted, is the sole responsibility of the person who posts it. Onestep Med does not monitor or control Content and is not responsible for its accuracy, reliability, or appropriateness. Any reliance on Content is at your own risk.
Onestep Med is not a healthcare provider or insurance carrier and does not endorse specific health plans or advice provided through the Services. Available options through Partners may include, but are not limited to, telemedicine services, ACA-qualified plans, Medicare plans, or other health-related products. We encourage you to explore all options and consult professionals before making decisions. Onestep Med is not affiliated with or endorsed by any government entity.
We do not guarantee the completeness, truthfulness, accuracy, or reliability of Content. You may encounter Content that is offensive, inaccurate, or inappropriate, and Onestep Med is not liable for any such Content or resulting damages.
If you encounter Content that you believe violates these Terms or is offensive, contact us at contact@onestepmed.org. We reserve the right, but not the obligation, to remove or retain Content at our discretion.
5. Your Rights
You retain ownership of any Content you submit, post, or display on the Services, subject to the Content License granted to Onestep Med. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to submit Content and for any consequences of its use or distribution by Onestep Med, Partners, or others. You represent and warrant that you have the authority to grant the Content License.
6. Onestep Med’s Rights
All rights, titles, and interests in the Services remain the exclusive property of Onestep Med and its licensors. The Services are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of the United States and other countries. You may not use Onestep Med’s name, trademarks, logos, or domain names without permission. Feedback or suggestions you provide about the Services are voluntary, and Onestep Med may use them without obligation to you.
7. Restrictions on Content and Use
We reserve the right to remove or refuse Content, terminate users, or reclaim usernames at our discretion. We may access, preserve, or disclose Content to comply with laws, enforce these Terms, address fraud or security issues, or protect Onestep Med, its users, or the public.

9. Services Provided “As-Is”
The Services and Content are provided “as-is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including for merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Onestep Med does not warrant the accuracy, reliability, or availability of the Services or Content and is not liable for any harm, including data loss or financial losses, resulting from your use.

11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Onestep Med, its Partners, affiliates, officers, employees, and agents are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services, third-party conduct, Content, or unauthorized access to your Content, regardless of legal theory.

14. Controlling Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of New Jersey and U.S. federal law, excluding conflict of laws principles. You agree to indemnify Onestep Med for any losses arising from your use of the Services or breach of these Terms. Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association, conducted via video or audio conference. Arbitral awards are final and enforceable in any court of competent jurisdiction.
15. Entire Agreement
These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Onestep Med regarding the Services, superseding prior agreements unless a separate written agreement signed by Onestep Med states otherwise. We may revise these Terms and post updates on the Services. Material changes may be notified via email, and continued use after revisions indicates acceptance.
